Barratt and Monitise are very different beasts, as we argued yesterday, yet their websites present many similarities.
Our Approach
Our audits provide a detailed analysis of SEO technical and on-page parameters for the domains and subdomains barratthomes.co.uk and monitise.com
Our report identifies all the variables that could affect search engine rankings and the customer’s journey, based on:
- Accessibility
- Indexability
- On-page Rankings Factors
SEO Audit Criteria
- Score: Critical areas where intervention is needed on a scale from 1 to 5 from an SEO perspective. “1” least problematic, no action needed; “5” most problematic, immediate attention needed.
- Status: indicates the current performance of the website for the specified parameters.
- Description: indicates the analysed SEO parameters, which are identified through the crawling.
Key Findings
- Technical: A better technical set-up has been detected for Monitise, but Monitise’s website is much smaller. The mobile user experience is excellent for both, but speed metrics for mobile and desktop aren’t great.
- On-Page Optimisation: A round of on-page optimisation is recommended for both Barratt and Monitise — structure, hierarchy and navigation need work, which would likely yield a stronger performance and higher rankings/monetisation rates.
