It’s A Kind Of…SEO Magic

Nothing has caught my eye in the last 24 hours, but I thought this piece of news should REALLY draw your attention.

In his blog post on 1 April, Matt Cutts, the departing head of Google’s search quality team, unveiled an automated SEO tool that will be launched in the next few weeks. Software trials could be requested through the site seo.ninja as shown here below.

autoseo

The website states: “AutoSEO is automatic SEO. You write your text, and AutoSEO processes your content and presents it in a beautiful format that’s compliant with all major search engines and browsers. No more debating title tags. No more time-consuming keyword research. Thinking about your mobile strategy? Not to worry, AutoSEO handles mobile too.”

Of course, this was the April Fools’ day joke…

…However 3,000 folks, who’d likely consider themselves ‘digital experts’, have requested an invite.

I reckon most of them are still wondering why their invite request hasn’t been accepted yet! Dear me.

Has your company ever tested if its digital strategy is in the hands of professional marketeers or so-called digital experts who believe in magic tools?

If you want to discuss this topic further and/or you want to have a proper assessment of your website and the quality of the work which has been delivered to you by digital experts, please feel free to email us at info@hedgingbeta.com
